We love this bathroom design, chronicled by BoingBoing.net – it’s a superb mosaic of the Pac-Man game done in tiles around the walls from a public bathroom in Ohio in the US.
What’s best about it is the incredible level of detail – not only Pac-Man itself but Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde, pac-dots, power pellets and fruit in all their pixellated glory. It’s retro-gaming heaven. When you flush or turn on the faucet, do you get that pinging Midi theme tune, we wonder? You should especially check out the scorecard by the mirror in the first picture.
So, is it a work of art or the height of nerdishness? Perhaps, to answer that question, you have to actually be old enough to remember the Pac-Man game… Of course, Google can always help us out with that.
And, since Pac-Man is still one of the most successful video games of all time, presumably there are plenty of people around who’ll appreciate the design.
